How does receipt and kitchen printing work?
Install the Tawlaty Windows desktop app (.exe) and it prints receipts and kitchen tickets silently to your thermal printers — no browser print dialog and no manual steps. The web app runs in any browser; the desktop app is what unlocks silent printing.
Do I need to install an app for the QR menu?
No. Your guests open the QR sticker on the table, the menu opens in their browser, and they order straight to the kitchen.
What hardware do you support?
The POS runs on any Windows tablet or PC, with USB or network thermal printers (ESC/POS) and any standard cash drawer via the receipt printer. Silent printing is handled by the Windows desktop app.
Can I import my existing products?
Yes — a CSV/Excel importer is built in, and our team helps you migrate on the growth plan.
Which languages and currencies are supported?
Arabic and English out of the box (RTL-native), with more locales on request. JOD, SAR, AED, USD, EUR and more.
How is my data protected?
Every store is isolated at the middleware layer; a user in store A literally cannot see store B's data. Backups run daily, encryption at rest and in transit.
