Run Tawlaty on your Windows register.
Receipts and kitchen tickets print straight to your thermal printers, the cash drawer opens with the payment, and the app updates itself in the background.
Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit
Why the desktop app?
Direct printing
Receipts and kitchen tickets go to the printer on their own: no browser print dialog, no extra tap.
Opens the cash drawer
A drawer connected to your receipt printer opens with each cash payment.
Updates itself
Updates download in the background and install when you close the app. Nothing for you to do.
Same account, same data
Sign in with your existing Tawlaty account. Menu, tables and orders are the same ones you see in the browser.
Install in three steps
Download the installer
Press the download button above and wait for the file to finish.
Run the installer
Open Tawlaty-Setup-x.y.z.exe and follow the prompts. It takes about a minute.
Use the same Tawlaty account you use in the browser.
Prefer the browser?
Tawlaty runs in any browser with nothing to install. The desktop app only adds direct printing and drawer control.
Desktop app questions
Is it free with my plan?
The download is free, and you sign in with your existing Tawlaty account. What your store can use depends on your plan, which is listed in the pricing section.
Does it update automatically?
Yes. The app checks for updates and downloads them in the background, then asks whether to restart now or later. It never forces a restart mid-service.
Is there a macOS version?
Not yet. The desktop app is Windows-only for now. On a Mac, use the web app: it does everything except direct printing.
Which printers work?
USB or network thermal printers that speak ESC/POS, plus a cash drawer connected through the printer. If you have a specific model and want to be sure, get in touch.
